Partnership Kicks Off with Limited Edition Batman Cowl Based on Costume from Warner Bros. Pictures’ 1989 “Batman” Film

WESTBURY, N.Y. April 10, 2022 – Denuo Novo LLC, a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Rubies II LLC and National Entertainment Collectibles Association, Inc. (NECA), is proud to announce a new licensing partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. This new licensing agreement will bring the iconic characters of the DC Universe to the world of high-end collectibles and costumes.

For its first DC product, Denuo Novo will launch the iconic 1989 Batman Cowl from the #1 global box-office hit “Batman.” In creating the perfect cowl, the Denuo Novo team used a digital sculpt, which allowed for every inch to be painstakingly scrutinized and delicately recreated. This process then created the necessary engineering to give consumers an industry first: a cowl with an exact bodily thickness, allowing for a comfortable and extremely durable wearing experience.

Each limited-edition cowl, sequentially numbered to 500, will be cast in a tear-resistant elastomer, hand-finished, hand-seamed and re-stippled to match the original piece. The exclusive few who get to own this collectible will experience a prop that is not only completely finished from the inside-out, but also highly wearable, a cowl befitting of the Caped Crusader himself.

The 1989 Batman Cowl is constructed of platinum silicone and includes a base and stand for display. This officially licensed, limited edition piece is available for pre-order exclusively at Denuo Novo.
